PrintLife's Journey Offers Yoga Summer Camps
Beginning June 1 from ages 3 through 6th grade, Life’s Journey Wellness will be offering summer camps and activities for children to grow on in their new expanded facility at 2301 Park Avenue (The Office Pavilion), Suite 302, Orange Park, FL.
Pre-K Story Time Yoga Class, a 4-week series will begin June 1 and meet Weds. 10:15-11:15am and will include ages 3-5. Grab your yoga mat for some fun animal play. We’ll be dinosaurs, crabs, dogs, cat and so much more while we “travel” to the beach, farm and even outer space. We have been known to make some cool crafts and visit some of our favorite stories, were we become the story by acting it out with our bodies. The cost is $60 for the series.
Summer Camps June 13-17 & July 18-22 from 9am -12pm; this Yoga Summer Camp has a unique approach to integrative learning using yoga as a pathway to reading, storytelling, music, creative arts, science, and earth care blending seamlessly with yoga poses to strengthen the body & mind, grades K-6. The curriculum provides children with an exciting new way to explore and appreciate their body’s creative potential. Children learn invaluable skills that set the groundwork for meeting challenges and growing flexible & strong physically, mentally and emotionally, cultivating self-esteem for a lifetime of successful achievement. The cost is $100 + $20 supply fee.
